Graveyard Shift #2 (Comic Review)

Liam spends the night locked in a crypt with his girlfriend. She’s a vampire. And she’s getting hungry… Graveyard Shift issue 2 is a solid entry in the series. Liam finally manages to get through to Hope after she tries to kill him He decides to hide her and himself inside a crypt that is protected with a cross on the door. This move ensures the other vampires can't get in to kill them. Unlike the first issue the action is none existent. Instead issue 2 works to reconnect the reader on the relationship of Hope and Liam.

The time in crypt reaffirms the love these two characters have each other. I enjoy the Hope character and glad to see the writers add another dynamic to the character. With Hope being a vampire it raises the stakes on how Liam will deal with her. What if she starts killing? Does he put her down for good? Can he be able to handle that situation? It's the little seeds planted that will have you waiting for issue number 3. Overall the plot moves forward as Hope and Liam try to adjust to their new life. Vampires are among them and now one is close to his heart. Only time will tell how Liam will deal with this.
