A team of special forces soldiers approach the designer of a high-tech military compound to investigate the disappearance of another team guarding the facility.  The compound, known professionally as a Temple, is an artificial intelligence powered facility designed for interrogating high level prisoners.  Upon entering the Temple, the soldiers quickly find the earlier team horrifically slaughtered but no evidence as to who is responsible.

Almost immediately, the crew begins to experience strange and horrific supernatural phenomena as they attempt to uncover who killed the previous team.  Soon enough, they find a lone survivor, a dangerous terrorist who may hold the key to who killed the soldiers.  But as the story goes on, we’ll learn that there’s more to it than we’ve been told and a dark secret the soldiers share may hold the key to surviving The Temple.

WHAT:    Tickets for the all-new CG animated “Starship Troopers” sequel are finally within reach. “STARSHIP TROOPERS: TRAITOR OF MARS” arrives in U.S. movie theaters for two showings on August 21 only, including a special introduction by writer Ed Neumeier and actor Casper Van Dien, plus never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the filmmakers. The event aligns with the 20th anniversary of the original “Starship Troopers” movie.

Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer return as the voices of Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores alongside comedian and “Starship Troopers” super fan DeRay Davis in an all-new military adventure from the writer of “Starship Troopers” and “Robocop,” Ed Neumeier, and directorShinji Aramaki (“Appleseed Alpha”).

Cowboy Bebop Live Action Series in the Works

The classic sci-fi anime Cowboy Bebopis getting a live-action TV series, according to Variety. Christopher Yost is reportedly writing a screenplay for the pilot under a deal between the anime's owners, Sunset Inc., and a consortium made up of ITV Studios and Marty Adelstein,

Cowboy Bebop follows the story of Spike Spiegel and his crew - a group of bounty hunters known as "cowboys." A feature film starring Keanu Reeves was announced in 2009, but never came to pass.

No release date for the series has been announced.
