See The Tyrannosaurus Rex At The Jurassic World: The Exhibition

Based on one of the biggest blockbusters in cinema history, Jurassic World: The Exhibition, opened its gates this morning at the renowned Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The Exhibition immerses audiences of all ages in settings inspired by the beloved film. Visitors will travel to Isla Nublar as VIP guests to explore a towering Brachiosaurus; come face-to-face with a Velociraptor; and get a rare up-close look at the most vicious dinosaur of them all, Tyrannosaurus rex.
Created in close collaboration with renowned paleontologist Jack Horner, the Exhibition is infused with interactive educational elements—drawn from the real-world science of dinosaur DNA that allowed Jurassic World to come to life. Visitors of all ages can now learn all about these incredible prehistoric creatures.
Produced in conjunction with NBCUniversal Brand Development and Imagine Exhibitions, and co-produced by MagicSpace and IES, the life-like animatronic dinosaurs were designed by The Creature Technology Company (Walking with Dinosaurs). AkibaFest Relaunches Website With Ticket Info And Event Details
/Aniplex of America today revealed the second phase of the AkibaFest website. AkibaFest will take place in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles, on October 15th and 16th in 2016, bringing with it the fun and festivities typically associated with the famous Akihabara sector of Tokyo.
The revamped 2.0 version of the AkibaFest website introduces the event’s cat-like mascot, which will be the subject of a naming contest to be revealed soon. Additionally, the site makeover details AkibaFest’s special guest appearances, as well as the weekend’s extensive film offerings showcasing over a dozen films, including the North American theatrical premiere of KIZUMONOGATARI PART 2: NEKKETSU, the highly-anticipated second installment of the KIZUMONOGATARI trilogy. AkibaFest will be the first time many of these films will see a North American theatrical release, offering anime fans a unique opportunity to see their favorite anime franchises on the big screen.
Between now and October 15th, additional details will be added to the site, including news updates, the full schedule of events (including AkibaFest’s maid café and cosplay contest) and a comprehensive list of exhibitors. DJs will be playing popular theme songs and remixes of enduring anime series throughout the weekend, while other special surprises will be revealed at the event itself.

One thing I'd like to mention is that there always seem to be advances in Cosplay construction, and for the past few years, designs in the use of worbla and foam have been getting fairly sophisticated in all areas - armor, weapons, wearable creatures such as dinosaurs... the whole lot.
I've now noticed a big advance on another theme: LED lighting.
