BEVERLY HILLS, CA – October 9th, 2012 - Vuguru and POW! Entertainment will premiere a slate of new programming for YouTube channel, Stan Lee’s World of Heroes,
at New York Comic Con. The comic book icon will announce the premiere
of “Bad Days,” “Adrianne Curry’s Super Fans” and “Geek Therapy,” on
Saturday, October 13th. The panel will include pop culture
experts and enthusiasts, Stan Lee, Adrianne Curry, Peter David and David
Uslan to speak to the emerging enthusiast culture and introduce media
and guests to the new series through the premiere of exclusive show
clips.
Every
story has a hero. Stan Lee’s World of Heroes is the premiere
destination for all things related to heroes, villains and the world of
fandom. With both scripted and unscripted shows, the channel offers
something for everyone from comic book fans to pop culture enthusiasts
looking for Stan’s opinions, hero pop culture, the geek universe and
beyond. All flavored with Stan’s unique brand of humor.
After
the successful premiere of Stan Lee’s World of Heroes this past July,
the channel has received praise and exceptional reviews, building a
loyal fan base for programs including, “Cocktails with Stan,” “Stan’s

Bad Days (animated parody) – October 8th
From
Junaid Chundrigar, the creator of the animated viral sensation
Disassembled, and co-creator Davor Bujakovic, Bad Days shows us heroes
and villains on their worst days. Whether Green Lantern is wasting time
with an emerald Yo-Yo or Batman has locked himself out of the
Bat-Mobile, Bad Days lets us laugh at epic super failure.
Adrianne Curry’s Super Fans (unscripted reality) – October 11th
Super Fans showcases the best and brightest of the fan community. Host Adrianne Curry (America’s Next Top Model, My Fair Brady),
known to many as the “Queen of the Dorks,” takes her deep and abiding
love of all things geek and uses it to explore the lives of other
hardcore fans of comic books, graphic novels, movies and TV. Who are
these people and what is it about their muses of choice that inspires
them to such extreme fandom? Adrianne will visit their homes, meet their
friends and families, and pull back the curtain on the unique lives of
these passionate men and women.
Geek Therapy (scripted comedy) – Coming November
America Young stars in Geek Therapy,
a comedic series about a caring Therapist who helps geeks of all kinds
deal with their special emotional issues. Whether handling the troubled
romantic relationship between a geek and a nerd or coaxing a catatonic
geek out of her sorrow over Steve Jobs’ passing, the Geek Therapist
