Flame Con 2026

I had the pleasure of being invited to Flame Con again this year, and I was so excited! The panels I decided to attend were “Knight Life: Exploring and Crafting Queer Knight Tales” and “Kiana Khansmith with PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE I DON’T WANT TO BE A MAGICAL GIRL” because I love that web series. I love indie animation and indie creators in general, so it was so cool to be there. I was also interested in “Graphic Pride: Celebrating BL, Yuri, & LGBTQ+ Manga with Kodansha” but it’s hard to gauge what will be cool for a library collection. I’ll just have to settle for nabbing new titles for myself.

I’m really excited to dig into that ARC of “Dead New World” since it sounds like a crazy selection of genres and I love genre-mashing.
All in all, it was a great time, as usual. Everyone there is always so welcoming and sweet; all of it is such a comfortable atmosphere. If you’re into smaller cons, this is a fantastic one to attend and I cant wait for next year!
