News: Kotobukiya's Stylized Bumblebee Girl Statue Available August 2023

A collaboration by Hasbro, Takara Tomy & Kotobukiya brings the third addition to the Transformers series of BISHOUJO “beautiful girl” style figures - Bumblebee!

Like the other Bishoujo statues, this Autobot is designed by Shunya Yamashita whose imagination has “transformed” Bumblebee’s yellow color scheme into a cute yellow hoodie with horns and highlighted with baby-blue colored accessories & top. She’s got gray leg warmers and shoes that resemble Bumblebee’s transformed “car hood” feet, complete with headlights.

It’s a very cute standing pose with hands-on-hips, with left knee slightly bent and toes pointing inward. She’s got a slight laughter to her smile, almost as if to say “haha, that was fun!”

The size is 1/7 scale (around 217 mm tall) and is part of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo “beautiful girl” line. The base plate is an Autobot insignia in metallic paint.

Other statues that display well with Bumblebee are:

  • Optimus Prime (Bishoujo)

  • Megatron (Bishoujo)
