Kingston's Canvas SD and microSD cards have been updated and are faster than ever.

Their top-of-the-line Canvas React Plus (Red) includes high speed UHS-II card readers for both their SD and microSD cards and is great for recording 4K and even 8K content.

The updated Canvas Select Plus (Green) cards are more than fast enough to cover everything else from 1080p DSLR to smartphone video and drone footage.

On paper, the read speeds are supposed to be around:

  • 300 MB/s for React Plus (Reds)

  • 100 MB/s for Select Plus (Green)

We use Crystal Disk Mark to test out how these cards fare on our system.
