The Boy & The Beast is a great anime film by Mamoru Hosada. However a great film also needs music that helps capture the tone and theme of the film. The film also has just that a great soundtrack which combines a variety of different sounds. The soundtrack consists of over 20 songs from the film. It tackles various different sounds of Jazz and Classical music. The piano, strings and horns are heavily used throughout the soundtrack giving listeners a variety of emotional feels. The piano compositions bring in a feel of sadness, while the strings and horns are more cheerful and upbeat. Takagai Masakatsu composes a stellar soundtrack that compliments the film.
