The Avengers Vault by Peter A. David (Book Review)

Hey Otakus and Geeks fans, if you are a long time fan or new to the Avengers, this is the book for you! The Avengers Vault covers the Avengers history from the first comic to the Marvel cinematic universe.  The book is divided into chapters focusing on the core four Avengers: Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and the Hulk, discussing their origins both behind the scenes and on the page.

Review

This is a great read for any comic book fan. The first chapter tells a few stories and myths of how the avengers came to be. The chapter also covers almost every member of the Avengers from the beginning to the Ultimates. Each chapter after talks about the four core members of the team, Capt. America, Iron Man, Thor, and The Hulk. They go into great detail about each character and their major villains. Captain America is the most interesting chapter to me as the book explores the thought behind his creation and the people who took up the mantle after Cap retired.

One of the great bonuses of this book is all the extras it contains like original art work, posters, and other exclusive swag. Overall this book is a nice pick-up for new fans or those familiar with the Avengers. This is a book every comic book fan should have in their collection.

Thunder Press will be releasing Marvel The Avengers Vault by Peter A. David this March 2015.
