One more notable mention is that cables are very hard to tangle. I combine all the cables together and see if they would get tangle and it was very hard to do.

Overall if you looking for a cool effect for your usb cables, I-Phone and Android chargers then Color Cablest might be the product for you. It has a cool concept and it's really nice to see your cables glow while you charge your product. I would say the only downfall, is the time it takes for the light source to give the glow it's full effect. Other than that check it out.

Atlantic City Boardwalk Con Coming In 2015

L'ARC EN CIEL LIVE J-ROCK CONCERT FILM PLAYING IN 10 U.S. CITIES

Live Viewing Japan presents L’Arc~en~Ciel concert live from National Station. The concert will be playing live in 10 major cities all over the United States, in the form of a delayed satellite broadcast of their long-awaited “L’Arc~en~Ciel LIVE 2014 at National Stadium. I have seen L'Arc En Ciel live at Madison Square Garden and it's a must see. Read the details below. 

Chosen as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, the iconic National Stadium only played host to four most influential Japanese music bands’ performances as of 2012, with L’Arc~en~Ciel included. Being the band’s second time to play at this enormous venue as well as their very first show since the last world tour, the significant “L’Arc~en~Ciel LIVE 2014 at National Stadium” sparked worldwide attention as soon as it was announced. In response to fervent requests from the U.S. audience, the second day (March 22nd, 2014) of the two-day concert will be presented in 10 theaters across the United States as a special delayed satellite broadcast.

NY Toy Fair 2014 Recap

We went to the NY Toy Fair a couple of weeks back and we saw some really cool interesting stuff. Here are some of the stuff we saw from Nickelodeon, Cuddle Barn, Wild Hog, and more. 

Nickelodeon  
Half-Shell Heroes: For the first time, kids as young as three can join in non-stop ninja fun. The all-new Heroes In a Half-Shell segment includes action figures, vehicles and playsets, sized just right for preschool hands. It allows little ones to enjoy open-ended imaginative play with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles heroes and mutants. Available this fall, the line includes an assortment of 2.5” action figures, including Leo with Luge, Mikey with Skateboard and Raph with Mini Cycle. Also featured is the Shellraiser, the Turtles’ infamous group vehicle packed with action features;

Secret Sewer HQ Playset with Mikey and Splinter, which allows little ones to engage in endless ninja play; and Mega Mutant Leonardo, which permits kids to practice ninja training with Leonardo as they control his ninja kicks and chops.

Z-Line Ninja Playsets: The all-new collection of Z-line Ninja playsets allows kids to zip their Turtles action figures around the room. The playsets attach safely to walls and the zip-lines are easily connected, allowing kids to trigger a chain reaction, launching even more Turtle figures. Available this spring, the line includes two basic playsets, Freefall Fire Escape and Window Wipeout, and two deluxe playsets, Water Tower Washout and Billboard Breakout. NON-STOP Movie Review

Hey Otakus and Geeks, last night we got the opportunity to see the new action thriller NON STOP staring: Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, and Scoot Mc Nairy. As always here is a brief description of the movie.

STORY: Bill Marks is a burned-out veteran of the Air Marshals service. He views the assignment not as a life-saving duty, but as a desk job in the sky. However, today's flight will be no routine trip. Shortly into the transatlantic journey from New York to London, he receives a series of mysterious text messages ordering him to have the government transfer $150 million into a secret account, or a passenger will die every 20 minutes.

Review:  First let me get this out of the way.... (in my Key&Peele voice) LIAM NEESONSSSSSS!!! LOL! But seriously, Non Stop was a pretty good Action/ Suspense movie. The movie starts off slow with some points where you kinda want them to move things along, but quickly gets you immersed in the mystery and action you expect from Liam Neeson. "Non-Stop" confines its action almost entirely to the inside of a trans-Atlantic New York-to-London flight. The only negative about the movie is the slow beginning that might lose you if you're not patient. Non Stop is definitely good Friday night movie that you will be talking about on Monday at the water cooler. 

Final Grade: I give Non-Stop 3 1/2 stars. This movie is worth the ticket to go see!!

Naruto Shippuden Movie: Blood Prison Review

Naruto is convicted of a serious crime he didn’t commit and is sent to the inescapable prison, Hozuki Castle. The warden, Mui, quickly seals away Naruto’s chakra to prevent him from rebelling. Refusing to give up, Naruto plans his escape while also befriending his fellow inmates Ryuzetsu and Maroi. 

Nas Documentary "Time Is Illmatic" To Premiere At Tribeca Film Festival 2014

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) today announced that the world premiere of the documentary Time is Illmatic, will open the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. The film follows the trajectory of Nas’ 1994 landmark debut album, Illmatic-- widely considered one of the most important and revolutionary albums in hip-hop. The premiere, taking place on Wednesday, April 16, will be followed by a special musical performance where Nas will perform the groundbreaking album from front to back.

Time Is Illmatic traces Nas’s influences and the insurmountable odds he faced in creating the greatest work of music from hip-hop’s second golden era. The film tracks the musical legacy of the Jones family -- handed down to Nas from his jazz musician father, Olu Dara, the support of his Queensbridge neighborhood crew, and the loyalty of his younger brother Jabari “Jungle” Fret. Twenty years after its release, Illmatic is widely recognized as a hip-hop benchmark that encapsulates the sociopolitical outlook, enduring spirit, and collective angst of a generation of young men searching for their voice in America. Time Is Illmatic is supported by The Ford Foundation’s Just Films and Tribeca Film Institute’s Tribeca All Access program. “I want to thank the Tribeca Film Festival for supporting the film with the incredible platform they've built over the years,” said Nas. “It's an honor to premiere this film in my hometown. Tribeca Fi​lm Festival Opens Submission​s For 2014 #6SecFilms Competitio​n

fThe 13^th annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, today announced the opening of the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival #6SECFILMS contest as part of the Tribeca Online Festival (TOF). Vines can be submitted from around the globe through March 27 by tagging entries with #6SecFilms and the relevant category: #drama, #comedy, #animation and #genre. Multiple submissions in each category are permitted. Tribeca programmers will select up to 20 finalists in each category. A jury will then select one winner in each of the four categories. This year, in addition to the jury awards, online audiences can view the very short film entries on www.tribecafilm.com/6secfilms and vote for their favorite, through April 12, to receive the #6SecFilms Audience Award.

The winning works will receive a 30-minute meeting with GrapeStory (http://grapestory.co), the mobile-first marketing agency and production house founded by Gary and AJ Vaynerchuk of VaynerMedia, a social-first digital shop, and Jerome Jarre, a serial entrepreneur with more than 4.6 million passionate Vine followers.

The #6SecFilms contest debuted at the 2013 TFF with more than 400 U.S.-based entries in the categories of animate, genre, auteur and series. Geeks Who Do Music #5: SkyBlew

It's been a while since I did the "Geeks Who Do Music" feature. However I have another artist that you should definitely check out. This feature this time goes to a rapper name SkyBlew. I was introduced to SkyBlew's music through a retweet by one of our Twitter followers. I had a feeling that was a tweet I should pay attention too. I clicked on the tweet and follow the link to SkyBlew's Bandcamp page to his most recent release "The Digi Destined." I then proceeded to download the album and I was blown away. There are a lot of geeky rappers that throw in geek references in their lyrics. Sometimes the geek references have no relationship with the song, it's just thrown in there for the listener. 

What I like about SkyBlew is that his lyrics does contain geeky references, but it's cleverly put into the song relating to the overall topic or theme. The geek references don't feel awkward or out of place. In fact the references make sense, it makes you more intrigued on what SkyBlew will say next. A great example of his geeky lyrics is track six on his "The Digi Destined"album entitled "Dream Fighter 3rd Strike." This song can be interpreted in two ways. One way is SkyBlew's way of showing his lyrical onslaught to any challengers. The other way can be viewed from a gamer's perspective. The gamer who plays fighting games will love the lyrics in this song. One of the lyrics that will put a smile on a fighting gamer face is when SkyBlew raps. 

"You never been engaged to the game, I'm Ryu you powerless Johnny Cage lame. I make the wave the sang current thoughts on how you caliber. Ya'll ain't shooting for the stars you die in Galaga. While SkyBlew raps about things related to geek culture it's not all he raps about. He also raps about social issues, his views on the state of Hip-Hop and his life. My personal favorite track from his latest release is "Ballad Of The Dreamer." This is probably SkyBlew's most personal track on the album and it's the most uplifting. The production on this song fits the title very well. The beat makes you want to sit back and dream and plan your goals. It has a great message and the feature from an artist named Mega Ran ends the song nicely.

SkyBlew is an artist I will keep my eyes and ears on. He has a positive message, great lyrics and has a flow with versatility. His latest release "The Digi Destined" is fantastic and you check it out below. Also give him a like on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.

Star Wars Rebels: Meet Hera

Hera is voiced by Vanessa Marshall, and is an especially gifted pilot. “I think she really makes flying the Ghost look easy,” says Joel Aron, CG supervisor. And while she’s strong-willed, Hera also keeps the group together, and can be warm and nurturing. “She knows how to talk to them to get the best out of themselves and to be part of that team,” Aron says. “That to me is the commander of a ship.” 

Hera wears “utilitarian flight gear,” orange in color, with her Twi’lek head-tails hanging down her back. She’s not particularly glamorous, and is just focused on getting the job done. Like every member of the Ghost team, she has her reasons for rebelling against the Empire. Uncovering those reasons will be part of the Star Wars Rebels story, says executive producer Dave Filoni. 

“Every time we get a script,” says Marshall, “I am breathless with anticipation. I cannot wait to read what’s next because I want to see where we’re going, too.” Star Wars Rebels is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel and will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.
