Carpet Ball is a new Mobile App game available for I-Phone/ I-Pad users. The idea of the game is knock all of your opponents balls off the table. The first one to do this will win. The concept follows the same as pool with a little strategic elements of shuffleboard. Unfortunately while the concept and idea is there, however the execution isn't. For starters in order to enjoy this game, you will need two players with the same I-Phone, and must play over the same Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. Players must be in the same location and from there put your phones together to create the board. There is really not much to do with Carpet Ball unless you have a friend, the fun factor dies down after a few games, just hit the cue ball to your opponents side until you knock it out. The graphics isn't really the best and it's seems very generic. Unfortunately the app doesn't have much to offer, and the fact you need two phones, a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection and another friend to play is disappointing. With a price tag of $.99 you can try it for yourself and see, but I can't really co-sign this one.
There has been peace between the worlds of the mortals and the supernatural for centuries, but the balance is now being threatened. The Radical elements from the Supernatural world are crossing over into the mortal universe for the purpose of destroying the peace forever!
Hey people Jeff here and letting you know that right now you can get the extended cut of the Awesomenauts theme song off their official site right now for free. Well kinda free. See in order to get it, you just have to either make a post on your twitter or facebook page telling people about the free download. So no cash must be spent but still a great little theme song to listen to.
In case you don't know whats Awesomenauts, its a side scrolling Defense Of The Ancients style game (DotA) with a space cowboy setting. The game is PvP arena game play where your goal is to use n.p.c. bots that will make a bee line to the other plays goal and they take out its defenses then you would go in and finish of the other players base but you will have to watch out because the other players will be doing the very same thing.
Here is some basic game play that should give you an idea of what it is and how it looks like its out right now on PSN and Xbox Live.
After ten years the Men In Black are back in action. This time in Agent J must travel back into time to save K. Is this installment or a knockout? Or should you prepare yourself for a Neuralizer?
Story - Agent J travels in time to MIB's early years in the year 1969, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history. When I first heard of M.I.B 3 storyline immediately thought to myself, time traveling they just ruined the series. However in fact this storyline actually ties J and K's relationship together. If you weren't a fan of "Men In Black 2", rest assure "Men In Black 3" will make have faith in the series again. As previously stated J travels back in time to stop the assassination of K, after a old foe of K's named "Boris The Animal" (played by Jemanie Clement) escapes from prison. The story is pretty simple and it actually works, it's short, sweet and to the point. What really makes the story work in Men In Black 3 is the focus on K and J's relationship. The overall plot is trying to find K's killer, but the real focus is on J and K's relationship. Questions are raised more about K's past like. Why is K so grumpy? Why is K the way he is with J?
Focusing on that made M.I.B 3 work for us. That is not saying M.I.B 3 doesn't have it's plot holes, trust me there is a lot of them. There is one scene you think J killed an alien, then the alien appears in the next scene. Some of the jokes didn't make sense and felt awkward. For example Agent J says to Young K "Don't use that Jedi Mind trick on me." This joke doesn't work because Star Wars wasn't even out in the 69. New characters are just put in there and not really explored, the villain "Boris The Animal" wasn't the best. However other than that the story is witty, enjoyable and believe it or not the story is emotional. Out of all the three Men In Black films, this one is the most emotional, and it needed to be in order to explore K and J's relationship. Without giving any spoilers the twist that is set up towards the end is a little bit a tear jerker for fans. It will bring everything into perspective for J and K, the dots are connected and comes full circle if you fully understand the mythos. Only sad thing is that fans of Frank, The Worms and other aliens from the previously installments, don't get any to none screen time.
Acting - Do I really have to talk about the acting? It's Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith! The chemistry between these two is still there and still works. However the real amazing show stealer is Josh Brolin who plays Young Agent K. Brolin is purely amazing in this role, he has great chemistry with Smith. He nailed Tommy Lee Jones as K perfectly, you actually forget that Tommy Lee Jones is in the movie. He nails Jones mannerism, speech and his voice, his performance is scary! Overall the acting is a home run and it's what you expect you from "Men In Black."
Music & Filmmaking - The music is by Danny Elfman, and most of the soundtrack is just a rehashed of the first two soundtracks. A couple of strings added here, a guitar solo there, it works but it's not something you will remember. The visuals in M.I.B 3 is good, but 3D is really taking the audience out of the element, remember when you couldn't tell if the scene was on blue or green screen? You can really tell that it was filmed in M.I.B 3. The designs of the aliens are clever, the camera shots are awesome, but too much CGI really takes away from the feel you got from the first and second one. the 1960's New York is really not that different. However it somehow manages to keep it together.
Final Grade B-/***1/2 Out Of 5 Stars - Men In Black 3 is fun, emotional and to the point. It has it's flaws but the ending twist will make up for it. Rest assured it's better than M.I.B 2 and fans will enjoy the performances all around. It's time put on the last suit that you will ever wear.

Which DC Comic Character will be coming out of the closet?
Hey Otakus and Geeks Fans, Sean ( The Comic Guy ). According to editor-in-chief of DC Comics Dan DiDio, a
major DC character is going to come out as gay. DiDio dropped the big news at a London Comic convention. Although a gay comic book character is not that shocking considering Marvel is having one of their characters ( Northstar ) who is in a same-sex relationship, is expected to marry his boyfriend Kyle soon.
So who do you think it will be? DC Comics now has me racking my brain trying to figure out who it will be. The only clue we have is that it won't be any of the Brands that got a reboot. If you think you have an idea of who it might be, leave a comment and let us know. Here are some of my picks of who it might be.
Red Robin/ Tim Drake: It's possible. He has dated women, but his relationships haven't really gone anywhere. One of Batman's sidekicks being gay wouldn't be so shocking.
Green Lantern/Kyle Rayner: Hey I wouldn't be surprised if the made one of the Green Lanterns gay
Shazam!/Billy Batson: I mean he's a kid that might have discovered he has these new feeling! (LOL)
Raven: Who says it can't be a chick that comes out. I have to say hot half demon chick Hmmmm
Comic written with cooperation of members of U.S. Military & Intelligence
They
do their work in secret, the goals of their missions and the
discipline, teamwork, and skills needed to carry them out well out of
the sight of the American public. However, on May 2, 2010, an elite team
of Navy SEALs carried out Operation Neptune Spear, killing Osama bin
Laden and launching "Black Ops" into the American consciousness.
Among the imaginations captured by these elite forces was that of Nathan Edmondson, a writer (WHO IS JAKE ELLIS, DANCER) who was inspired to create THE ACTIVITY, a comic book series that follows the lives of members of the special operations group Intelligence Support Activity. Drawn by Mitch Gerads (with guest issues by Marc Laming),
THE ACTIVITY depicts the training and covert missions of Team Omaha
within the real-life organization with glimpses of the "regular" lives
they live where no one knows about their real jobs.
The insight
into the lives of special operatives, as well as the bleeding-edge
technology they employ in their missions, is founded on Edmondson's
desire to create a true-to-life depiction of life in Special Forces. A
trip to Washington D.C., as well as extensive research and networking,
yielded defense contractor contacts and sources within special ops.
"I
flew to Washington, D.C. and interviewed colonels and captains and a
general face-to-face, gleaning what info I could," Edmondson told MTV Geek
at the time of THE ACTIVITY #1's publication. "I’ve had the scripts
reviewed by individuals from the Pentagon and JSOC [Joint Special
Operations Command].... Often it was a matter of those advisors
directing me and us to specific reading material, or simply telling us,
'no, that doesn’t make sense.'"
Edmondson's commitment to
accuracy won the aid of many of the book's advisors, including Major
Rusty Bradley of the US Special Forces, who co-scripted issue six of THE
ACTIVITY. Major Bradley is the hero responsible for leading the team
that took Sperwan Ghar in the decisive battle in Afghanistan, as is
accounted in his book, LIONS OF KANDAHAR. Bradley's co-writer, embedded
Special Forces reporter Kevin Maurer, is an ongoing advisor to the book
and wrote the foreword to the trade.
The first trade paperback
collection of THE ACTIVITY, containing issues #1-5, will be for sale on
June 6 (ISBN 978-1-60706-561-6).
THE ACTIVITY #6, in stores now
and drawn by Laming, shows events west of the Congo in the Civil Affairs
career of Team Omaha's newest member, code name "Fiddler," that led her
to being recruited by the Intelligence Support Activity
THE
ACTIVITY #7 is the launch of a new story arc, "Goat Hunt," which sees
members of Team Omaha being sent to Uzbekistan for their latest mission
after incriminating evidence is discovered on a Chinese freighter. It
was co-written by actual Navy SEALs whose identities cannot be revealed.
It is available for pre-order now from the May issue of Previews and
will be in stores on July 18.
THE ACTIVITY creator Nathan
Edmondson and artist Mitch Gerads are available for interviews and, as
an added bonus, some their research contacts will also be answering
questions along with them. Please contact Image Comics PR and Marketing
Director Jennifer de Guzman at jenniferdeguzman@imagecomics.com to set
up an interview with the team of THE ACTIVITY.

In case you don't know, or have been sleeping for a while. Toonami the great showcase of great Anime shows as Dragonball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam Wing and many others is heading back to Cartoon Network. This time Toonami will be on the "Adult Swim" block, this is actually really good news for us Anime fans. Let me explain a little bit, why Toonami return is great for Anime. Toonami Airs May 26th 12:00 AM on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network!
Anime Exposure On Basic Cable: Let's face it, not everyone has Netflix or the Anime Channel, and Anime on basic cable is seen little to none. With Toonami's return that means fans will get a chance to see some Anime that they haven't seen, with two shows "Casshern Sins" and "Deadman Wonderland" joining the roster it will be a fresh start. However the only bad thing about this, is the schedule timing. Toonami might come on too late for some viewers, not everyone is going to stay up 12 to 3 AM to catch Anime. Thankfully with Toonami back it could mean more Anime will be seen, hopefully not just on Cartoon Network.
The Higher The Ratings, The More Anime We Will Get: If you know anything about television, then you know at least this, ratings keeps a show alive. No ratings the show will be cancelled for sure. It's going to be up to us to make sure Toonami stay alive. The more ratings, most likely a prime time slot will be given to Toonami which means more Anime shows. More Anime shows, means more revenue all around, let's be honest Anime in America is taking a slight drop, and Toonami could be that battery charge that it needs.
Reminds People Why Anime Stands Out: The reason what made Toonami so special was the Anime. It was something many people didn't see, especially on Cartoon Network. It brought people who never saw Anime into a world that is like no other. It turned people who never watch Anime ever into Anime fans. It showed people that Anime is awesome, and should be watched. With Toonami return maybe it will remind people what makes Anime so great.

Here is some news from the world of Marvel Comics!
The X-Men, one of the world’s most popular super hero teams, have always been at the forefront of the biggest stories in comic history; and today is no different as Marvel is proud to announce the wedding that has everyone talking! Today, fans worldwide learned on ABC’s The View, that Jean-Paul Beaubier, AKA Northstar and a popular member of the X-Men, proposes to his boyfriend Kyle Jinadu in Astonishing X-Men #50, on-sale tomorrow in comic stores, on the Marvel Comics app and at the Marvel Digital Comics Shop. The creative team of New York Times best-sellers Marjorie Liu (X-23¸ the urban fantasy Hunter Kiss series and the Dirk & Steeleparanormal romances) and Mike Perkins (Stephen King’s The Stand) have put Northstar and Kyle’s relationship to the test—and now they’re about to take their biggest step yet. But will their path to wedded matrimony in New York City be smooth or are there hidden dangers around the corner?
“The Marvel Universe has always reflected the world outside your window, so we strive to make sure our characters, relationships and stories are grounded in that reality,” said Axel Alonso, Marvel Editor in Chief. “We’ve been working on this story for over a year to ensure Northstar and Kyle's wedding reflects Marvel's "world outside your window" tradition."
Then, on June 20th, don’t miss the wedding of Northstar and Kyle in the pages of Astonishing X-Men #51! This unforgettable issue features covers by Dustin Weaver and Marko Djurdjevic, along with a special “Create Your Own Wedding” blank variant cover! Select comic book retailers nationwide will host wedding parties at their stores to celebrate this joyous occasion, with special items exclusively available at participating stores!
“The story of Northstar and Kyle is universal, and at the core of everything I write: a powerful love between two people who have to fight for it against all odds,” said Liu. “This is the quintessential Marvel story, one that blends the modern world with the fantasy of super heroes in order to tell an exciting story that begins with a wedding—and continues in ways you can’t imagine.”
Northstar was first introduced to comic fans in the pages of 1979’s Uncanny X-Men #120, a member of the super hero team Alpha Flight and antagonist to the popular super heroes. A gold medal winning Olympian and successful businessman, the French-Canadian super hero quickly became one of the most popular members of Alpha Flight when its ongoing series launched in 1983. In 1992’s historic Alpha Flight #106, Northstar became the first openly gay super hero when he announced his sexual identity through national media. Since then, Northstar has not only joined the X-Men but become one of their most popular new members. Northstar and Kyle have been a couple since 2009, garnering a large fan following since their first appearance together.
“As a long-time fan of the X-Men, it’s not only a true honor to be part of such a historically significant story but also a complete joy,” explained Perkins.
Don’t miss the proposal everyone’s talking in Astonishing X-Men #50, available tomorrow in comic stores, on theMarvel Comics app and at the Marvel Digital Comics Shop. And then save the date for June 20, as Northstar and Kyle tie the knot in Astonishing X-Men #51
We had the pleasure of chatting with upcoming actress Abigail Klein. Abigail Klein is a former NFL Cheerleader for the "Dallas Cowboys", she also is an actress. We chatted with Abigail about her role in Adam Sandler's new movie "That's My Boy" and of course we manage to get her to talk about her inner geek, from romance novels to "Temple Run."
OtakusandGeeks.com: Can you tell us about your role in "That's My Boy" and how did you get the role and what was it like on set?
Abigail Klein: I play one of Jamie's bridesmaids who is played by Leighton Meester. My character is very fun loving, enthusiastic bridesmaid. I audition for my part last July. I went in did the audition and thought okay great that was fun, then I went home to Texas for the fourth of July thinking nothing of it. Then when I got back to L.A. I was told that I had gotten the part. Next thing I knew I was on the plane to Cape Cod to shoot for a month out there, with the most amazing cast ever! It's exciting to finally get to see it.
OtakusandGeeks.com: What have you learned being on set? Is there anything that you will take that you will use through the course of your career?
Abigail Klein: This is my first movie, so I'm was basically trying to soak up everything. The best part was the group of people I got to work with, Sandler, Samburg, and even James Caan, Rachel Dratch and Will Forte. Everybody was so down to earth, and welcoming so it made my first movie experience very comfortable. You learn a lot just watching these great actors.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Is it hard to work on a Comedy, you must have been laughing a lot of times during takes?
Abigail Klein: When most your cast members do Comedy, it's hard not crack up, sometimes they would crack themselves up and then the whole set would be laughing. It's a different set to be on, oppose to a more dramatic set. I really enjoyed laughing all day at work.
OtakusandGeeks.com: For those who don't know you were a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader? We assumed the Cowboys are your favorite team?
Abigail Klein: Go Cowboys! I grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan. I grew up in Irving, close where the players would train. My parents are die hard Cowboys fans, the Cowboys is basically in my blood.
OtakusandGeeks.com (Justin): That's very interesting since we are from and based in New York. I know my Uncle who is a die hard Cowboys fan and a Texan would agree with your support for the Cowboys.
Abigail Klein: New York huh *laughs.* Don't matter what team you cheer one thing is for sure, everyone cheers for the cheerleaders.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Agreed. Here at Otakus and Geeks we focus heavy on Anime, Videogames, Films, Books, etc. Being geek doesn't necessary mean you fall into those areas. Abigail what is your inner geek, what makes you geek out?
Abigail Klein: Romance Novels! I' am a sucker for romance novels. The latest one I'm reading "The 50 Shades Of Grey." It's a real page turner, it seems whoever picks up the book disappears for a while *laughs*. The book is really out there and I'm enjoying the series.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Time to answer some questions our readers have for you. John asked "Is it a difficult transition from going to one form of entertainment to another, going from cheerleader to actress?
Abigail Klein: That's a really good question, it's really different because I grew up dancing, I didn't grow up acting. I was always accustomed to performing for a bigger audience. I'm very comfortable in front 80,000 fans in a huge football stadium, when I made the decision to go to L.A. it was different arena. Acting is more of an imitate setting, and it's a real learning experience, because I'm out of my comfort zone.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Stacy asked "Every actor or actress has that one person they would love to work with. Who would you love to work with?
Abigail Klein: Betty White! I think she is awesome. I've been a fan of hers I would love to meet her.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Since you were on the topic of books earlier, what book would you love to live in?
Abigail Klein: Harry Potter series, to be a wizard would be amazing, having the wand and flying on the broom.
OtakusandGeeks.com: We love videogames here, so we have to ask do you play any type of games?
Abigail Klein: I don't really play that much videogames, but when I'm auditioning or taking a break I play "Temple Run" which is really addictive.
OtakusandGeeks.com: Finally what can we expect from "That's My Boy" and your words of wisdom?
Abigail Klein: You can expect a really funny movie, with an amazing cast. My words of wisdom is be happy.
"That's My Boy" will be in theaters June 15 2012 Nationwide.

Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig each reflect on the impact and importance of taking on such a famous role.
