Transformers Cyberton Adventures Review

"One shall stand, the other shall fall." Can this apply to the Nintendo Wii's "Transformers Cyberton Adventures?" The answer depends on your expectations. If you are expecting the same game as "War For Cyberton" get ready to be disappointed.

Story - The story is very little in detail. The Autobots are trying to stop the Decepticons from unleashing a baddie name Trypticon. You are able to choose between the Autobots and Decepticons. Either than a few mission breifings there isn't really much characterization. You won't care for Optimus and the others, because there is no type of development.

Gameplay -
The game is a Rail Shooter. Which means you are limited to movement. You are not able to control your Transformer. Instead you are only able to shoot and drive in vehicle mode when allow too. Using the Wii Mote and Nunchuck you are able to aim. The B button is used to shoot. The A button is used to take cover. The Z button is used to zoom in and that's pretty much it. There really isn't much to it. Every Transformer is the same when it comes to weapons. You either use the Missiles, Sniper, Cannon, Blaster and Gatling Gun. The A.I. is not really difficult once you find out there weakness. As for boss fights it is rare as winning the lottery. The game is easy due to the regeneration feature. If you find yourself close to death, just press A and you will heal fast. The gameplay is pretty standard rare shooter, but a plus side is Air Raid levels are fun.

Gameplay Video

Graphics -
Graphics are average at best. Cybertron looks the same almost every corner. Only when you are going to destroy Decepticons locations do things seem different. There is a couple of bland issues, but no lag issues at all. Depending on what TV you use, the game could be really dark and make it hard to see.

Sound - The game really shines here. Peter Cullen delivers another great voice over for Optimus. Johnny Basch joins the team as Bumble Bee and brings a lighthearted humor to the character. The music is decent but nothing memorable.

Replay Value - Unless you want to unlock things like Challenge Modes, Concept Art there really isn't no replay value. There is no online and offline multiplayer.

Final Grade D+ - Transformers Cyberton Adventures is very repetitve no matter what faction you choose. You only use Optimus on the last level. There isn't many boss fights, the game is very easy. This game is a one trip deal. This game has fallen.

Darth Vader Robs Long Island Bank

Apparently Darth Vader has been out of work since Revenge Of The Sith and needs credits. In Long Island New York, a man held up a bank wearing a Darth Vader costume. Yes you read it right a Darth Vader costume. This guy doesn't even have a blaster, he has a gun! He didn't even have a lightsaber with him. Anyway thank God no one was hurt. Here are pics below, credit to New York Daily News. What is the world coming too? I won't lie to you the fact he is in a Vader suit is humorous.

Grotesque Review

Grotesque is one of the most sickest, sadistic and grotesque horror films I have ever seen. If you thought "Hostel" was extreme you haven't seen nothing yet. Before I begin this review. I want to stress that this film is very graphic and not for the weak at heart. I also want to state that I'm not a fan of torture horror. Let's get to the review.

Story - After having their first date, a couple is kidnapped by a mad doctor. The doctor makes a deal with them. The deal is show him their will to survive and he will let them go. The doctor is a man who only gets sexual stimulation from torture. The couple is going have to get him very stimulated so he can release them. That's main plot of the story. The things that happen in this film will leave you speechless. I won't spoil much. I will just say scissors and a the girl's nipples, snip, snip. Mindless the brutality of this movie it actually has a theme to it. The theme actually makes you wonder about the strength of a human being and the strength of love, for that it brought a little heart and you cheer for the main characters.

Acting - The movie stars Tsugumi Nagasawa as Aki, Hiroaki Kawatsure as Kazuo and Shigeo Ôsako as The Doctor. The acting is believable for the runtime of an 1hr and 13 mins. Shigeo Osako steals the movie as The Doctor. It's the look on his eyes that makes me love his performance. The look on his eyes is pure evil, he looks like he has no soul and that makes a great video.

Direction - There is no CGI in the movie thank God. The effects are done very well. The setting is similiar to many torture films. The dark gritty place where no one can here you scream.

Final Grade C+ - The ending is piss poor and very unrealistic. Mindless tortue and only a few characterization. However this is still something you have to see. It's a shock value movie.

Japan Street Festival

Today I went to Japan Street Festival on E 14st near between 8th and 10th street, with my friends from Iheartcoolstuff. The street festival was pretty cool. I learned a lot of stuff. Here is just a little bit of what we saw.

Justin - It wouldn't be a Japan street festival without a little Cosplay fun!

Justin - It wouldn't be Japan without robots. Dr. Robot inc was there showing off some of his robot toys.

Justin - No that isn't what you think it is. Those aren't flowers, in fact they are panties that are shaped like flowers.

Justin - Instructions on how to pray at a Shinto Shrine.

Justin - Lady holding the shrine bell.

Justin - Getting my name written in Japanese.

Justin - Street Art in New York City

Justin - Yum, Yums

Justin - Japanese Soda!

Dragonball: The Magic Begins (The First Live Action Movie)

I'm convinced that Dragonball might not ever get a good adaption. Well unless I get discovered and hired to write the script and direct. Here is a clip of the 90's attempt of a Dragonball live action. It's called Dragonball The Magic Begins. Credit to ShiggyAngelofDeath youtube channel for putting this rare video up. Yes Goku is played by a girl. At least the nailed the turtle hermit part for Master Roshi. This is already better than Dragonball Evolution. What are your thoughts on this?

Otakus and Geeks Origins: Anime Angel's Geek Legacy

Now it is my turn to tell you my story on how I became Anime Angel, an Otaku/Geek. My story may not be an exciting one but I hope it answers all of your questions about who, what, when, where, why and how I became who I am today.

Ready for the Game

I started on my journey to nerdiness and otakuness with video games believe it or not. My mother had game systems starting from Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advance, to Playstation 1. After a time, the systems kept piling up such as Nintendo 64, Gamecube, and Playstation 2. Then there was the era of handhelds. I have a regular Gameboy Advance, (2 actually since my mom gave me hers), Gameboy Advance Sp, then Psp, and the old and new Nintendo DS. Yeah pretty much I have a arcade in my house. (I used to have a Dreamcast but we gave it away, oh well). Then as we get to this day and age, I got a Wii, and an Xbox 360. So really my game obsession started at home. Thank you mother!

"Hey these aren't cartoons".

I was about 6 or 7 years old when I first started getting into anime. The biggest program I used to watch every weekend was Toonami. Mind you, I thought these were all cartoons. I never placed them into categories yet. Some of the shows on Toonami such as DBZ, Sailor Moon (even had the Sailor Moon movies), Rurouni Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakusho. I also remember watching a little bit of The Big O and Cowboy Beebop. As I gotten older and Toonami got more popular, so did the shows. Soon new shows started popping up such as Zatch Bell (one of my favs), Rave Master, One Piece, and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (yes it was a show. It was something like Sgt. Frog today. You know crazy plots and crazy characters you'll probably get lost at the beginning of a series). As time progressed, Naruto started to show up and I was completely hooked from the first episode. This was when I was about 12. This is also when Adult Swim opened my eyes to other anime I love like Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist. Now that I'm becoming older, new anime and genres became known to me such as shojo and dare I say yaoi. (For the record I am will not be a yaoi fangirl anytime soon). I also remember starting to read manga I believe when I was in 5th grade. I enjoyed it ever since.

I LUV ANIME!!!!!!!!!

The thing that I love most about anime is that there are so many different types of it. Anime is different than most shows on t.v. In my opinion anime is better than most t.v shows. They show so many aspects of daily lives, but also they have shows that make you laugh and think. Anime can combine aspects that we normally wouldn't pick up on. For example, for Ouran High School Host Club is mostly a silly, sweet show. However if you watch it more closely, the characters and storyline is more deeper than you would have first thought. Another reason I luv anime is how it tells a story. Its different than what we're used to and also I luv the animations and artwork (thats also why I luv drawing it too).

People

Most of my friends who I hang around with are Otakus as well. My family is totally clueless about it and believe I'll get over it. Although they really don't mind at all. Other than that the people I talk to and hang around with are either Otakus, or has some clue or no clue about it but are cool with it. My friends and I always talked about anime and if some of my friends didn't know what the heck I was talking about, I either explained it or move to a subject they understand. I have such deep conversations with my friends especially one that is like a sister to me. We carry out such deep conversations about anything anime or game related. For instance on of my favorite game saga is Kingdom Hearts. We talk about almost every character in that series and how things would be in one scenario than the other. Its also the same with anime. It's totally fine with me because I'm happy I have people who except me for me.

"Here Today, Otaku Forever"

Well here you are. I'll probably continue be an Otaku for as long as I can. I hope this sheds light on who I am and how I became Anime Angel! Any other questions you want to ask, leave it in the comments below. Thanks guys for all your love and support! Anime Rules!!!!!!!!!!
