Alice in the Country of Hearts Review
/Story
Alice once again fell down the rabbit hole, this time by force. The white rabbit, Peter White, has forced poor Alice into participating in a game. Of course Alice refused and asked to go home. However, Peter informed her that she can't leave until the game is finished. Now Alice is being stuck in Wonderland until she can figure out how to get out. Is this a dream or Alice's reality?
Just to let everyone know, I have Alice in Wonderland fever! This story makes you want more and the characters you won't forget in a long time. There are a couple of characters that you probably never heard of and the characters you know and love, have more dark personalities than you could imagine. No spoilers here but you will be taken back on how they changed the Mad Hatter. I was speechless myself!
Story line
The story line is so dark that it makes you really think. Some questions you may ask yourself is " what is this world all about?, How it came into be, and what is this game?" The story line keeps you very interested and wanting more.

Disaster Day Of Crisis (Wii Import Review)
/Story - You play as Raymond Bryce an ex United States Marine and International Rescue member. The game begins with Ray and his friend Steve Hewitt on a resuce mission on a volcano. Sadly the volcano erupts and Ray and Steve must escape before time is up. Steve dies and Ray lives. This works great for characterization, because Ray will be haunted with this throughout the game. A year later Ray quits the rescue team. He is then called in by the FBI to aid them in stopping a former Marine group called Surge. Surge has their hands on some nukes and are planning to release it. Ray doesn't want anything to with it, until he finds out that Steve sister Lisa is in their hostage. While this happening natural disasters are taking place. Ray is having on hell of a 24 hours. The story works minus a few far fetch plot points. What you will enjoy about the story is how Ray deals with himself afte Steven's death. The story has great pacing and characterization.
Gameplay - This a very verstaile game. It has first person arcade shooting, driving, platforming and action. Most of the time you will play with Ray in the 3rd person. Using the Wii Mote with the Nunchuk you go on hell of a ride. The Nunchuk is used to move Ray. A button is to jump, B button is to sprint. C button is use to move the camera and in gun battles to zoom in. Z button is used to call out for help to find people who need to be rescue, also to clear your lungs. In gun battles Z is used to take cover. During the driving levels 1 is used to brake and 2 is used to accerlate. The gameplay works all around and it responds very well. There is also some really good quick time events that I won't spoil.
Ray also have to rescue people who are trapped. However rescuing is purely optional. I suggest it because you gain experience points for upgrades. The upgrading system works really well, depending on what you unlock Ray will be able to run faster, have more powerful guns and larger life bar. There also is a stamina gauge that you must watch at all times. When Ray's stamina is low his life energy will be slowly draining. It's best to have something in the inventory at all times. The A.I. in gun battles depending on your level is fairly easy. However the boss fights can be a little long if you don't have the right weapons. If you get stuck with only a pistol get ready for a long battle. The driving stages work really well and the motion sensor responds well to your commands. This was one well thought out game.
Gameplay Video
Graphics - The graphics was great to me. Why does the import games have the best graphics? The graphics are really up to Wii standards, you have to see it for yourself to see. I did find some of the natural disaster graphics not really that impressive. The acid rain didn't look good at all. There was no framerate issues and it was great to see a end of the world feel to it.
Sound - The soundtrack is AMAZING! I felt like I was in a real action movie playing this. There is this one track after the Tsunami hits that has so much emotion, you almost feel a connection to the people suffering in this game. Whoever did the soundtrack really did a hell of job.
Replay Value - This game is a ride you want to take again. Once you unlock everything you might want to try it on the harder mode. It's a great ride and a different game.
Final Grade B+ - Disaster Day Of Crisis gets a well deserved B+. The game has a little shortcomings in the story, but it has great gameplay and is very fun to enjoy. I say import it because it's a sleeping gem.

Dealing With Bullies
/Bullies can build confidence or can destroy it - Having bullies was the best for me. Of course they beat me up, spit on me, made me feel less than nothing. However that emotional and physical abuse awoken a fighter in me. I didn't just let these kids beat on me. I fought back. If they punched me, I punched back. But dealing with bullies is not easy for everyone. There is many factors that comes into play.
For me I was bullied in Junior High and it was the worst. There was days I didn't want to go to school. The kids made fun of my clothes because it wasn't up to date. I didn't listen to latest music. Girls thought I was a dork for loving anime, games and Star Wars. Plus I would get jumped on numerous occasions. However through all that adversity, my confidence didn't go down. Instead it made me more fierce to be better than them. I was fortunate enough to have a support system. When my confidence was on low, I had true friends and family to build me back up. This left me able to endure all the bull that these kids threw at me. I understand that many of us have different experiences. Not everyone has someone in their corner. Not everyone has someone to stand behind them and lift them up. This leads to my first rule with dealing with bullies.
1. Have a strong support system - Find someone or something to counter attack the negative energy bullies bring. Find positive people and you will see the difference. Its not easy finding positive people, chances are this support comes from the people you least expect. In my case it came from my 8th grade teacher. Focus on things your good and use that drive to succeed. If you don't fit in that means you're meant to stand out. Stand out my friends.
2. Tell an adult - This is usually didn't change anything from my experience. It usually made it worst for me. Times have changed thankfully. However if you inform the right adult you might not have a bully anymore. Find responsible people who are willingly to make sure that justice is served. If it's a bully in school, talk to the principal, dean, teacher, your parents. It's your job to SPEAK! Nobody is going to know what is going on if you don't tell them. Don't worry about being tattle tell, this is your physical and emotion state on the line.
3. Fight back - This doesn't mean you get a gun and shoot up the school. This means if they push you, you push back. If they punch you, you punch back. Keep in mind though this tip can lead to escalation. Not all bullies back down when you fight. It's okay to defend yourself with your fist, if your being attacked. Don't seek vengeance. This is only if your being physically attack and need to protect yourself. Otherwise make sure you do number 2 until something happens.
4. Talk to your bully - This rarely works because usually the bully is too ignorant. However in that rare case they might tell you why they don't like you. Then you can solve the problem with words.
5. Love yourself and stay focus - It's really hard to bring down someone who truly love themselves. If you have enough love and confidence in who you are, the bullies won't do major damage. Even I had to discover my love for myself at one point. Having the support system didn't always keep me up. You need to have knowledge and love who you are.
Remember my otakus and geeks that are still being bullied at work, school or etc. These people usually have a cliche story. They are popular, or in power right now but it usually doesn't last. Sooner or later they will have to come terms with who they really hate, and that is themselves. I just saw two of the few men who bullied me in Junior High School. Not to my surprise they are still up to no good and ignorant as ever. I must admit I did smirk that I was doing better than them, but it sadden me that they still haven't grown. This is my most important rule.
6. Don't hold a grudge - DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT! Let they hatred turn you into a hateful person. Do not hold a grudge against these people. Endure and kill them with success as I have. Nothing makes these bullies feel worst about themselves than when you surpass them. DO NOT bring them on Maury or Tyra saying, "You bullied me and look at me now." That is showing that you still have a grudge. Just endure it my friends it doesn't last forever. If the damage is too great then seek professional help. I'm serious about that one. You can heal from physical pain, but mental damage is the worst.
Endure, Believe and Be Smart.
Otakus & Geeks Stereotypes That You Hate
/1. You're an Otaku so that means you watch Hentai or prefer anime characters than real people - We have no idea where this stereotype started or why some people believe this. First of all not all Otakus watch Hentai or get sexual attraction from Anime characters. It's actually a small percentage of Otakus that will find Misato hotter than a real girl, or Vegeta sexier than a real guy.
2. Geeks are anti-social, depressed and weak - We all have seen how the media portrays geeks. They are usually people who keep to themselves, afraid to talk with people or viewed as weak because of their pursuit for intelligence. It's a stereotype that is very annoying.
3. Adults who play video games are losers - Yet another form of thinking that makes no sense to us. Since when playing a videogame at a certain age makes you a loser? Wow this was a new stereotype for us.
4. Female gamers are not as good as Male gamers - Sadly some Male gamers still believe this stereotype. Trust me I have played a lot of female gamers and have gotten my ass served. They are just as equal with the competition. Some female gamers are even more fierce.
5. Being a geek means that you are a loser.- Another stereotype that is shown in the media. Being a geek doesn't make you a loser. Being a geek with no goals, no ambitions and not bettering yourself makes you a loser.
6. Geeks and Otakus live in their parents basement - This one is also depicted in the media. That adults geeks and otakus still live inside their parents basement, sitting on the couch playing games all day. This just in that is a really small percentage duh. Most geeks and otakus and are very successful with their own places.
7. All Otakus & Geeks are virgins - Oh this made us laugh. Otakus and geeks are far from virgins. Trust us the otakus and geeks of the world, have sex as much as anyone else maybe even more.
8. All Cosplayers are losers with no lives - Do people not dress up for Halloween? Do people not dress up for a Masquerade party? Do people dress up for acting? Are these people losers? No! Cosplay is about becoming a character, nothing wrong with that.
9. Geeks only socialize on social networks - Another one that made us laugh. Who thinks of this stuff? Anyway geeks have friends outside the net. Most geeks for that matter we are pretty sure of that.
10. Geeks and Otakus finish last - Most Otakus and Geeks are pretty successful in life, marriage and careers. This is one can rest in peace.
We wasn't going to post all the stereotypes we received. However keep in a mind in order for a stereotype to be true, it must applied to everyone who is targeted. Feel free to list more stereotypes in the comment section. Stay Smart!

Dragonball Kai OST Vol 1 Review
/Kenji Yamamoto is most known for his composition on various videogames such as, "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption," "Advance Wars: Dual Strike" and the upcoming "Donkey Kong Country Returns," brings us his TV scored effort. He doesn't disappoint with stand out tracks like, "Over The Star ~Piano Ver.~", "Win Tough Fight (Guitar Verison)" and "The Formidable Warrior, The Saiyan,"are some of my favorite tracks. Yamamoto makes an effort by staying true to the Japanese Dragonball sound. However he leaves enough room to compose something original for us to enjoy. To put it simply he put his stamp on it. Each song captures an emotion, or describes a characters mood. Kenji really delivers on that factor of describing the scene. My disappoint is like most Anime OST, the the opening theme song and ending song is in TV size. Sorry fans you will have the buy the single to "Dragon Soul."
Final Grade B+ Dragonball Kai OST Vol 1 gets a B+. It's a fun soundtrack to listen too, that stays true to the Dragonball sound. However the short length in songs makes it a hard buy. Dragonball fans should at least check it out. Check out the stand out tracks below.
Over The Star Piano Verison
Win Tough Fight! ~Guitar Version~
The Formidable Warrior, The Saiyan
