Final Fight Double Impact Review

There comes a time when I feel really nostalgia. I always have a desire to return to the classics. Thank God for Capcom and their constant love for upgrading their classics. Capcom has given us so far Marvel vs Capcom 2, Street Fighter 2 HD and now we have Final Fight. You are also getting a game entitled "Magic Sword" with the package. However should you take a trip to the past? Or should the past stay in the past?

Story - The story of Final Fight is straight forward. Mayor's daughters gets kidnapped by thugs, you will have to save her. You can choose to between three characters Cody, Guy and Hagger. Not much story here, but c'mon people it was made in the 90's. In Magic Sword you are after an evil lord who wants to destroy the kingdom with a black orb. No real characterization or plot in this one as well. Hey it's the 90's and it's a beat em up.

Gameplay - The gameplay will make you feel right at home in Final Fight. Only two commands are used in this games. A jump button and an attack button. Combine the two and you'll will be able to a special attack. However be careful with the special attack as it will drain your energy. The challenge in the game has been dumbed down. I remember this game was nearly impossible to beat in the Arcades. However with the use of unlimited lives, this makes the game really easy. No matter how many times you die, you will eventually beat the game due to this feature. This feature applies to Magic Sword as well. In Magic Sword the gameplay control wise is the same. There is a jump button and attack button. Magic Sword takes you to a series of 50 levels as you climb your way up to the castle. What makes Magic Sword gameplay different, is the ability to recruit allies on your quest. You will have to find keys to open doors to prisoners in the castle. These prisoners will aid you with their abilities on your way to the final battle. There is no real complaints I have the with these games. The only cons is that you can't pause online, the unlimited lives takes the challenge level down. I don't know if my PS3 is missing up, but it seems PS3 owners can only play this game logged in. Other than this gameplay is solid. It's easy to find other players for great co-op. I had no lag issues.

Gameplay Video

Graphics - The graphics can alternate depending on how you set your games. You can either choose the original sprite graphics, or the new HD look. As much as I love the old school original sprites, the HD look is just too good. The details in more better, more crisps and sharp. I recommend going with the HD look.

Sound - The sound is pure old school arcade style. It has remastered and revamp for this day an age and it sounds great. From the explosions to punch, kicks and level ups, this arcade music and sounds at it's best.

Re-playability/Value - - This game can be played over and over again. Not only this includes concept art, and the horrible episode of Street Fighter, where the characters Final Fight were featured. The inclusion of leaderboards will have coming back to see if you are on top.

Final Grade -
Final Fight Double Impact gets an A-. this is one game that you need to take a trip back too. Great gameplay, a little on the easy side but very enjoyable. Two games for the price of one. You can't go wrong. Pick up Final Fight Double Impact.

Dragonball Evolution Reaction

I decided to agree to a friends request. He wanted me to watch Dragonball Evolution and film my reaction to it or do a review. I couldn't bring myself to do a review on this piece of trash. Instead here is my reaction to certain scenes in the movie. This contains spoilers, but who cares this shit sucks. FYI I rarely curse at all, but this movie pissed me off lol.

Yugioh Abridged Series (YGOAS)

Yugioh was a great series and always will be. Of course must of us saw the 4Kids version every Saturday morning (which censored a lot of things). Here is the abridged series and it is pure genius. His name is LittleKuribo and is awesome. His new username is CardGamesFTW and has a website called yugiohtheabridged.com to see more vids. Enjoy! Anime Rules!!!!!!!!!!

BROOKLYN RAGE!!!!!!!!

One of my favs!

This is by LittleKuribo and is epic.

Reflection In The Mirror (Anime Angel)

Justin just gave you his reflections of anime characters that resemble him. Well now it is my turn and I'm going all out on this one. lol

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who are the anime characters I resemble most of all?

Haruhi Fujioka

Haruhi definitely resembles me. She has this attitude to certain things nonchalantly, and sometimes I can be that way as well. Whenever the host club (aka Tamaki) gets all freaky, I react the same way she reacts. Also she is one of my fav anime characters of all time.

2. Maka Albarn

Maka is a bit of a bookworm and unfortunately so am I. She catches up on her studies and hates to fail. Same with me and school. Studying to keep my status and to get smarter are two things me and her have in common. She is also stubborn which describes me as well.

3. Liz

Surprisingly I consider Liz (of Soul Eater) a part of the many voices in my head. She knows how to get Death the Kid together from his symmetry rants like when I'm with my friends.

4. Tohru Honda

Most definitely Tohru is me 100% of the time. Tohru loves to see people happy and tries to cheer everyone up. She is so protective of her friends and says sorry for things she really hasn't done. I'm exactly the same way. I love Tohru's spirit and she is so innocent to boot especially the scene of Haru and the president of the student consul. ^-^ rofl!

Well that's it for now. If I have any more characters I'll put them up for you guys to see. Thank you for reading and commenting. Anime Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reflection In The Mirror (Justin)

Anime Angel and I were talking and we figure we reveal our personality or events based on Anime characters. Since we have both have watched many Anime over the years, there is a wide range of characters that reflect us. I'm going to choose my characters based on events, stages and personality.

Shinji Ikari (The Shell Stage) - In Childhood , Junior High School and parts of High School I was Shinji. I could not open up to anybody. I was stuck in this shell of self grief and pity, and believe everything was fault. Shinji and I are similar with the Father issues, only mine were different. Just like Shinji I had to go to the darkest depth of my mind, to find the light I' am today.

Rick Hunter (Love Life) - LOL if you never seen Robotech The Macross Saga, then you are missing out on a great love triangle. Rick Hunter love life is very similar to mine it's scary. LOL both fell in love with a singer, didn't work and met a Lisa Hayes. The ups and downs and being under Minmei's spell is pure reflection of a past relationship.

Kazuya Shibuya or Naru The Narcissist - I have been accused on many occasions of being a narcissist. For the record I'm not a narcissist. I do not think I'm better than anyone else. However I will admit I' am a full blown smart ass. Like Naru I really don't have patience or time for the little things and tend to not pay attention to it. This leaves people to believe, that I think I'm better than them. The truth is like Naru, I just don't care for things unimportant if it's something if I know you can handle yourself.

Shu Strength My friend said my ability to endure is like Shu. This is actually my favorite one. Regardless of the how dark, hellish and ugly Shu's world got, he always saw the beauty in humanity and everyone.
A huge test in life is the ability to endure. Just like Shu regardless of what is thrown, I know there is always a light waiting to shine :).

Renton (Overall Me) Renton is cool, naive, driven and passionate about his views. Minus the constant whining, I'm Renton to the core.

Pokemon SoulSilver Review

The well awaited SoulSilver Pokemon game
had hit stands on March 14 and is better than ever before.

Story- Just as in every Pokemon game known to man, you as a
new pokemon trainer are off on your first journey. Although your
journey is much different then in the past. First, you have new
pokemon to start off with; Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. These
are different than the the other pokemon you could choose from.
Apparently Team Rocket are up to their tricks again (after 2 or 3 years) and you meet
a new rival who seems to be part of Team Rocket. If you played all the other pokemon games then this may seem easy for you. If your a
beginner, then you well have a lot of fun.

Gameplay- The gameplay is very easy to follow. It's the same gameplay since Pokemon Blue Version.
However some of the features are cool and much better to control. Any pokemon you have as the leader
your party can walk with you just like in Pokemon Gold when you had Pikachu.
The menu is now at the bottom of the screen so you don't have to press another button. You can touch it with your stylus. New features
for the menu and your bag is a new feature too. Depending if your playing as a boy or a girl the bag
will be a backpack or a handbag. When you press the bag by using X or using the stylus, instead of
having just the bag show up, your character will show up as a 3D model on the top of the screen.
The menu has the pokenav like in Pokemon Emerald but this time has radio and much more
no spoilers). Like I said if you played the previous game, its all the same.

Graphics- As you begin the graphics are the same except for the bag feature and the buildings.
The buildings are in 3D like in Pearl, Diamond, and Platinum but different locations.

Sounds- There is a different remix per say of the battle theme and have different music for each town you
visit and when your on your bike.

Replay- Like any other pokemon game you can play this over again and again with new pokemon
start with.

Rating- I give this game a B+. I love the pokemon games but some things are repetive. Although the graphics
and other features are awesome to play with. Anime Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!
