Infinite Space (DS) Preview

This week I had a chance to play the Japanese version of Sega's new Sci-Fi RPG. The RPG is entitled "Infinite Space" or Mugen Kōro in Japan. You follow Yuri a young man who dreams of being a space captain. The story I couldn't really understand since I don't understand Japanese. From what Sega said that the story is divided into two parts. One part is Yuri story and the other is him years later. I would like to talk about the gameplay and graphics for this game.

Gameplay - The gameplay is fairly simple. You first must pick and design your ship. There are over 150 designs and crew members to choose from. Once you have choosen your ship. You will embrake on missions depending on what galaxy you have choosen. You control the ship from the command center. Using the touch screen you forward ship towards it's goal. But random battles can encounter with other enemy ships. The attacks are done by the attack gauge seen on the top screen. The higher the attack gauge the more damage you do the ship. It's a turn based RPG with battles with your characters, once you invade the enemy ships. Multiplayer will be fully supported in Wi-fi. However I didn't get a chance to try it out.

Gameplay Footage

Graphics The game opens up with a wonderful Anime cut scene. The conversations are in 2D picture stills. The gameplay itself is in full 3D as you command your ship and take fire. It's has very good graphics for the DS. It has an Nintendo 64 feel to it.

Stay tune for the full review of Infinite Space when it's release for the Nintendo DS on March 16th.

I Wish I Had A Wife Review

I finally gotten the chance to see a Korean Romantic Comedy entitled "I Wish I Had A Wife." The movie is directed by Park Heung-shik (The Twins, Bravo, My Life). It stars Sol Kyung-gu (Peppermint Candy) and Jeon Do-yeon (Happy End, Harmonium in My Memory).

Story - The story follows Bong-Soo Kim (Sol Kyung-gu) a single lonely banker, who is watching love pass him by. He sees all his friends and co-workers getting hitched. Not getting any younger and approaching 30, Bong-Soo Kim starts recording monologues for his future wife. In these monologues Bong-Soo Kim tells his future wife how much he loves her. When Bong-Soo is about to give up hope, enters his old classmate played by (Jin Hee-kyung). Bong-Soo meets her again after leaving a hospital and the two start dating, or just having flings. While this is going on he meets a lovely but shy school teacher Woo-Joo (Jeon Do-yeon). Woo-Joo is very much like Bong-Soo Kim. She also wishes to have the right person in her life, but tends to be out of luck. What progresses in the story is a chance of miss opportunity for Bong-Soo. You know the story of the nice guy that has a nice girl crushing on him, but the nice guy is too dumb to see it. That will sum up Bong-Soo. The problem I had with the story is the rushed ending. I won't spoil it but I felt that the character relationship should have been developed more. Like there should have been more to it. But otherwise it's a nice story.

Music - The music in "I Wish I Had A Wife" is very upbeat and relaxing. Two styles of music Classic music and Jazz. The music score fits right with this lighthearted film. It doesn't disappoint.

Acting - You know some people say romantic movies are the easiest genre to act in. That is not the case at all. It's very difficult to act like you desire or in love with somebody. Sol Kyung-gu delievers as Bong-Soo Kim he is believable as the lovable loner searching for true love. You will find yourself getting frustrated, as you watch him ignore the love in front of him. Jeon Do-yeon is known as one of the best actress in Korea. She really gets into skin of a shy, lonely woman, trying her hardest to win this man's heart. The actors and director do they job well. They make sure that each scene sets the tone for the next scene.

Final Grade - "I Wish I Had A Wife" gets a C+. Great acting, fun music, but the story had it's miss with the establishment of the relationship. Bong Soo Kim basically was like, hey I didn't get the girl I want. I might as well take you. It's a fun movie and worth at least checking out.

Final Fantasy XIII Soundtrack (Disc 1) Review

On March 9th, Square Enix will released Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3 and XBOX 360. I manage to get my hands on the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack. Does Masashi Hamauzu make his mark and bring the magic we are used too? Or does the Final Fantasy need it's father Nobuo Uematsu back at the helm?

Rest assure Final Fantasy XIII Soundtrack is amazing. This album can rival Final Fantasy VII Soundtrack. Masahai Hamauzu really put his all in this soundtrack. With four discs to listen you, believe it that you are getting your money's worth. What really makes Final Fantasy XIII so special is it's variety of music. The soundtracks doesn't have just Classical music. There is Jazz, Rock and Acoustic as well. I believe that this Final Fantasy soundtrack brings something other predecessors was lacking. I felt that Final Fantasy XII was lacking emotions. Final Fantasy XII soundtrack was so generic and I really couldn't get into it. But let's get to the review of Disc 1.

Disc 1 contains 19 songs
Song list

1. Prelude To Final Fantasy - The prelude is a very important track. It sets the mood and tone for the whole album. This isn't the standard soft prelude that we're used to hearing. This prelude can be describe as soldiers marching to battle. The drums slowly creep in as you keep hearing a chime like sound. Then the trumpets finally play in which brings us to a mood that we are overlooking a city. It's a great build up. I enjoy it.

2. The Promise - This is a very emotional romantic theme. Which begins with Piano keys, then in pure orchestra fashion the strings enter. This song is one of my many favorites. I put this top five on the soundtrack. The ending with the strings is amazing and very emotional. I believe this will be used in the loved story for Snow.

3. The Thirteenth Day - The Thirteenth day is a really short song only 53 seconds. It contains haunting sounds and a solo string. Nothing really special on this song.

4. Defiers of Fate - Defiers Of Fate starts off with a techno like sound and guitar solo. Then it gives us an orchestra less epic take on Lighting's theme. This is a good track but I could deal without it.

5. Saber's Edge - Percussion's, Horns, Pianos what more can you ask for in Saber's Edge. This has a really good fantasy feel to it. As I was listening to this, it brought me to another place. I imagined a world in outer space. A very nice sci-fi feel.

6. The Hanging Edge - Bring in the Violins and Strings because this is one suspenseful song. I like this one because it keeps on you on edge. When listening to it I felt like time was running out somewhere. The little Violin solo was the best part.

7. Those For The Purge - This theme starts off very dark, but later on lightens up. I felt the emotion was that you had to make a decision. This is a great song for when you just need to think.

8. The Warpath Home - The horns return in this song. Once again we get a marching, war room type of feel. Average at best.

9. The Pulse Fal'Cie - A very quick orchestrated song that I wish was a little longer. However this song slows down the tone from the previous song and brings us into a mellow mood.

10. Face It Later - The piano, flute and strings are used in this song. The piano has a short solo with the flute in the background, accompany by the strings. Very romantic theme but once again another theme I wish was longer. It's only fifty five seconds. But I love it anyway.

11. Snow's Theme - The mood of the album is changed once again. With the electric guitars getting their shine in a wonderful song. Snow's theme can be described in three words pure bad ass. Snow's theme I feel the emotion of Man who is a hero and on a mission. This is one of my favorites from disc one.

12. The Vestige - The album is slow down to bring in strings with a vocals in the background that blends in.

13. Ragnarok - The choir is in full effect for this song. Its very spiritual and haunting. I felt like I was at church and the choir was singing for a funeral. This is a very good song. Epic feel to it.

14. In The Sky That Night - I really like this theme. It's very cute lol. It's a very happy piano theme. I can imagine kids playing when listening to this. I think this will be use for a mini game.

15. Promised Eternity
- My favorite song on Disc one. The piano and string returns in a very emotional romantic song. Just like "The Promised" the emotion of a love can be felt. This is one stands out the most to me because of the build up. It's starts with the piano solo, then the strings give us this I love you forever moment. It's just beautiful.

16. Eternal Love (Short Version) - This is a nice R&B/Pop song. It is sung by Sayuri Sugawara. I don't understand Japanese but this song is very hot.

17. Lake Bresha - Very mellow and comfortable theme. This is a great theme that you can fly with. The violins make a return again.

18. The Pulse L'Cie - Another Pulse theme this one is very good. It's very simple with horns and strings. But once again very short.

19. Eidolons - Disc 1 ends in an epic way and rightfully so, it leads to the wonderful opening of disc 2. This song contains drums, electric guitar and strings. It's a nice battle theme which I believe is going to be used for the summons.

Final Grade - Disc 1 is a very nice appetizer before the main course. Disc 1 is my least favorite out of the 4. But it is worthy of a listen. Disc 1 Grade is B-. Good but it's like a little teaser before the show.

Stand Out Tracks From Disc 1

1. The Promise
2. The Hanging Edge
3. Snow's Theme
4. Promised Eternity
5. Eternal Love.

What We Want If Final Fantasy VII Has Another Sequel

Ok I know Final Fantasy XIII is only one month away. However I was recently playing Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core and Dirge Of Cerberus. After watching the secret ending of Dirge Of Cereberus, it is clear that Square Enix has indicated another possible story in Final Fantasy VII universe. I hope this happens because the secret ending was a cliffhanger. If you haven't seen the secret ending click the video below warning it contains spoilers.

Dirge Of Cerberus Secret Ending.

If you haven't played Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core for the PSP then you don't know who that guy is. Well his name is Genesis and he is one of the baddies in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.

Here is what I propose if we get another Final Fantasy VII game.

Main Villian should be Genesis! - I love Sephiroth as much as any Final Fantasy VII fan. Let's be honest with ourselves his story has already been told. Frankly his war with Cloud is getting stale. He has lost twice already (that's if you are not counting Kingdom Hearts and Dissida) I'm sick of Jenova and her son. Let's bring in someone who has not been satisified with his goal. Genesis still has work to do and his clones should still be on the loose. I think Genesis would add a great depth to the next story, because where Genesis is we will see the return of characters such as Zack, Aerith and Angeal.

No more depressed Cloud please. - After Advent Children it is shown that Cloud is comfortable in his own skin. Let Cloud finally take more of a mature role. Let's see some more character into Cloud, let him crack a joke for once. Show more aspect of the person that he is grown to be. He is human and has healed let's see more of a human Cloud. Also would it also kill you to have him officially dating Tifa? The girl has been waiting forever. I know they live together with Marlene and Denzel but c'mon.

Bring back Nobuo Uematsu - If the next game is going to be done right. Then we need to have the father of Final Fantasy music leading the helm for this project. As good as the other composers are Nobuo brings out the emotion the best. It's time to return to our roots if this would be the Final of Final Fantasy VII.

Aerith Is Dead Keep Her That Way - I love Aerith and frankly there is no Final Fantasy VII without her. But keep her dead and in the Lifestream. She can give guidance and aid the team. But do not bring her back to life, it would just make things complicated for poor Tifa lol.

Gameplay - Gameplay I would love to see Crisis Core gameplay for the next game. I love the feel of the Action RPG. Turn based is classic gameplay but in this day and age, we need to move around.

Summons - Bring back Knights Of The Round Table! End of story.

Shrina Needs To Return To Evil - Rufus is still alive which means Shrina should have a comeback. Plus where there is Rufus there is the Turks. Time to bring back to evil empire that we love from Final Fantasy VII. Have Shrina create new Weapon projects to try to stop Genesis.

Finally Give Everyone Else Some Focus - Cloud story is done. Vincent story is done. Tifa done. Aerith done. What about a little more focus on Cid and Red XIII (I named him Red Fox lol)? Let's see the support characters get a little more focus.

That's all.

Soul Eater Review

Yahoo! Hello everyone. Welcome to my second review. This review is on the show Soul Eater.

From the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop, I present the new greatest hit, Soul Eater. Join three meisters and their weapons on a journey to become the greatest weapon of all; a Death Scythe. 51 episodes of drama, action, and comedy, this is a show everyone will be talking about forever.
Let's meet the meisters and weapons shall we?

Meet Meister Maka Albarn and Soul

Maka Albarn and Soul are partners in keeping
evil at bay by catching their souls. You see Maka's goal is to make Soul Death's ultimate weapon, a Death Scythe. In order for soul to become one, they must catch 99 souls and one witch soul. However if they make any mistake in catching the witch's soul, all of the other souls will be confiscated and they have to start all over. Maka is a very determined girl. Vigilant in seeing other peoples souls and the
power of purifying (Anti- Magic Wavelength), she is one talented meister. Maka is a book worm and a little short tempered. Her father is the first Death Scythe of the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA) in which all meisters and weapons go to. Soul is very opposite of Maka. Soul is very calm in the face of danger. He has a nonchalant attitude about life and wants to be the coolest guy around. Together the make an awesome team.

Meet Shimigami Death the Kid and Twins Liz and Patty

Death the Kid is a very "unique" character. Death the Kid has an OCD for symmetry. Sometimes though, his obsessiveness with symmetry gets in the way of important missions and his other priorities. However looking past that flaw, Kid is a genius. He is the son of none other than Death himself. Kid is very confident and awesome in battle especially with his move the Death Cannon. Liz and Patty are his twin guns and are biological twins. Liz is the oldest and is the person who is the voice of the trio especially when Kid acts up or Patty (which is quite often). Patty is the fun-loving younger sister of Liz. She's the comic relief in a way. (No spoilers. You'll see for yourself). Death the Kid is one of my fav characters in this amazing show and my fav team.

Meet the Assassin BlackStar and Tsubaki

If you think that Death the Kid was a complex
character, wait until you see BlackStar. BlackStar
belongs in a family of assassins however, he is not
a very good one himself. He's very selfish and
headstrong. He wants to "transcend God someday"
but that's possible. He keeps messing up missions and
as a result never came close to make Tsubaki
into a Death Scythe. The only person that can bring
BlackStar back to earth is is ninja weapon Tsubaki.
Tsubaki is a very honest, a loyal partner and friend.
She is like a mother to BlackStar. She always correcting
him and making sure he doesn't botch things up,
especially when his big ego gets in the way (which is all
the time).

Storyline Ranking On The Anime Awesome Scale- This is one of the best anime shows
I have ever seen! The storyline keeps you on the edge of your seats and wanting more.
So many twists and best of all no fillers! (You may have noticed I said that
in my last review. I've been saying this because I have been watching too
much Bleach and as some of you know, there are a lot of fillers in that show
lol).

Characters' Ranking On the Anime Awesome Scale- The characters unique "personas"
(Persona 3 and 4 reference) and the way they express their kick butt attitude, clearly makes this
show different from any other. There is noting more I can say except its epic!!!

Final Overall Rating on the Anime Awesome Scale- The final grade for this epic anime is
an A++. Stay tuned for the review of Persona 3 and 4. Anime Rules!!!!!
P.S Funimation has this show on their site too.

Justin's Six Choices

The Joker

Justin - Everyone always tells me I make a great Joker. But a heavy price of $350 bucks, if I'm going to be the Joker for night. Then I will need to invest mind, body and soul into being the Joker. Who know's if I have extra cash I might just buy it.

Organization XIII

Justin - Get a group of my friends and we will walk the streets at night as Organization XIII. This is a great idea and only $125.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Shinji Ikari Plugsuit

Justin - As a huge fan of Neon Genesis this suit is the bomb, I wouldn't mind wearing this. At the price of $260 this would be something to wear at the next Anime Convention.

Ouran High School Host Club Boy Uniform

Justin - Hey why spend so much for only $115 bucks I can go as a member of Ouran High School Club. I think Prince and Anime Angel would like this choice very much.

Summary - "If you were a girl, we would never have met"
"Well- to...to be honest with you- I AM a girl-"

Plain when she's a girl, but disguised as a guy, she's got a good body, is awesome at fighting and has a handsome face.
Despite thinking that Ida is a guy, Kang Naru falls in love with her.
Now everyone thinks that Naru is gay, Ida wants to tell him the truth.

"What should I do? If they know I'm a girl - "

- But at what cost...?

Justin - I'm starting to read this now. It's pretty good. I'm finding myself really enjoying this manga. It's starts off with a the local school nerd getting bullied by her peers. She cleans and follows orders of a popular girl name Princess Mimi. But the nerd isn't what she seems, little does the bully know that she is a fierce fighter, she controls her anger by dressing up as a boy and beating them down. I like how it's starting so far and will see how it ends, with the struggle of dual identities. I will have review later on. Here is a strip from the Manga.

The Best Of Ms. Swan

I was watching Mad TV classics today and decided to post clips of the wonderful, but annoying Ms. Swan. She was one of the funniest characters on Mad TV. Here is our Artistic Wings Salute to Ms. Swan. Did you know the woman who plays Ms. Swan voices Lois on Family Guy? Yes it's true.

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Review

Capcom returns to their ever popular versus series, with Tatsunoko vs Capcom. There has been a lot of hype around this game, and many questions have been asked. Will this game surpass Marvel vs Capcom 2? Will the Wii system be able to display superb graphics? Who in the world is Tatsunoko? The answer to all these questions is yes, and as far as who is Tatsunoko here is a little history lesson taken from Wiki.

Tatsunoko History - The studio debuted in 1965 with the TV series Space Ace. Since then, many legendary figures in the anime industry have worked with Tatsunoko, including Mizuho Nishikubo, Hiroshi Sasagawa, Koichi Mashimo, Katsuhisa Yamada, Hideaki Anno (Tatsunoko provided animation work on the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series), and Kazuo Yamazaki. Sasagawa, in particular, is notable for bringing his fondness for "gag" or comedy animation to the forefront in Tatsunoko series such as the Time Bokan (1975) franchise. The translated and edited versions of the studio's more successful animated series, such as Hiroshi Sasagawa's Speed Racer (1967), Gatchaman (1972) and Samurai Pizza Cats (1990), are credited with bringing international attention to Japanese animation. Tatsunoko Production has a strong roster of action and science-fiction anime titles, Tatsunoko has nevertheless become well-known also for several widely-acclaimed fairy tale and fantasy-based series for younger children, such as Minashigo Hutch (1970), The Adventures of Pinocchio (1972), Temple the Balloonist (1977), The Littl' Bits (1980), and the Bible-based Superbook (1981).

The company provided some financial assistance on Macross (1982, adapted as part of 1985's Robotech) at some time during the run of the show, in exchange for various rights. They later licensed Macross to Harmony Gold, who then produced Robotech. This has given rise to a long standing legal feud between Harmony Gold/Tatsunoko and Studio Nue and Big West. While falling in favor of Nue and Big West in Japan, Harmony Gold still maintains that they have all rights to the Macross franchise in the United States. In June 2005, Japanese toy company Takara Co., Ltd. purchased a majority stake in the studio. Tatsunoko then became a complete subsidiary of Takara Tomy, the new company created following the subsequent merger of Takara and TOMY Co., Ltd., in 2006. Tatsunoko's studios are located in the Kokubunji district of Tokyo.

Several of today's top Japanese animation studios have their roots in Tatsunoko. Studio Pierrot was founded in 1979 by former Tatsunoko employees. Production I.G was established in 1987 as I.G. Tatsunoko, which was a branch for the production of Zillion led by Mitsuhisa Ishikawa. Studio XEBEC also traces its history to Tatsunoko, as it is an offshoot of Production I.G; and Koichi Mashimo who previously worked at Tatsunoko founded Bee Train. Tatsunoko's latest major project is the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars fighting game, a collaboration between Tatsunoko and video game company Capcom which features characters from both companies. Recently, it has been announced that Tatsunoko and Marvel Comics will collaborate on a joint Television project and other ventures.

Ok history class is over, now for what you been waiting for the review.

Story -
There is a story in here somewhere in the Arcade section. But there isn't much characterization for you to care. Besides it's a fighting game and who comes to a Capcom vs game for a deep story? This isn't a RPG.

Characters List
Ken the Eagle
Jun the Swan
Casshern
Tekkaman
Hurricane Polymar
Yatterman-1
Karas
Doronjo
Hakushon Daimaou
Ippatsuman
Gold Lightan
Ryu
Chun-Li
Morrigan
Alex
Batsu
Mega Man
Soki
Roll
Saki
Viewtiful Joe
PTX-40A
Frank West
Tekkaman Blade
Yami (Boss)

Gameplay - This game really takes fighting in the versus series to the next level. Not only is it more easier to perform moves, but it is also a fair fight (unlike Marvel Vs Capcom 2). For everyone wondering if we going to have a repeat of Magneto or Sentinel cheat, rest assure it won't happen. Capcom made sure everyone can survive each other. The game consists of eight modes, Arcade, VS, Training, Survival, Time Attack, Shop, Gallery, Capcom Ultimate Shooters and of course Wifi Battle. Trust me there is a lot content that will keep you busy. Especially if you want to unlock everything in the store. The game can be played in four ways. You can play with the Wii Remote, Wii Remote with the Nunchuk, Classic Controller or Gamecube. I prefer to use the Wii Remote by itself. Too me it's more comfortable and easier to use. You hold the Wii Remote horizontal and use the Dpad to move the character. Pressing 1 is to attack and pressin 2 is for special moves. Combining 1 and 2 unleashes a Hyper combo. The - button is to taunt. The A button is for mega crash which is a great new way to stop an attack, it will become your best friend. The game is two on two unlike Marvel's three on three. This makes the game more strategic and less frustrating. There is also great new features such as Baroque Combo which raises your strength for a bigger super attack. Trust me you don't want to be hit with this. What we love about the gameplay is that it's cathered to both the casual and hardcore fighting fan. There are three main attacks light, meduium and strong. Yes it's only three but trust me, it delivers. Everyone can play this game and trust me, pulling off a 50 hit air combo never felt so good. This is better than Marvel Vs Capcom 2? Hell yes in almost every way. We just wish it had a bigger roster. Also beware of Yami he is annoying. I can't forget online gameplay. Make sure you are on your A game, these guys and girls are good. What I like about this one is the Rival Sysetem. Rival system is when you registered an opponent as your rival. In other words if you are getting your ass kick 5 times by somebody, you might want to put them on your rival list, that way you can train to kick their ass.

Gameplay Video

Graphics - Honestly this the best looking fighting game on the Wii and from Capcom right now. This looks better than Street Fight IV. The characters are well drawn, no lag issues. The backgrounds are just pure art and it's something you must see. You will drop your draw at Ryu's blast and Karas special. Amazing graphics and I think all fighter that follow this format should take notes.

Sound - The sound is not the games strongest point, but since it's a fighting game I really don't care. You have the original upbeat music and Japanese voice overs. The sounds of the blast, punches and kicks are what you expect from Capcom. Nothing to revolutionary.

Replayability/Value - You will be playing this game for along time. You are going to desire to unlock everything in the gallery, character clothes and be the best online. Not to mention the mini games and the Capcome Shooter. This game is addictive and you will not regret buying this.

Final Grade A+ - - I never thought Capcom would surpass Marvel Vs Capcom 2 but they sure did. This is a must have for all fighting fans that own a Wii. Great graphics, wonderful gameplay, great rosters. All around fun! Buy Tatsunoko Vs Capcom when it's released Tuesday, January 26th 2010.

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Launch Event

Today I went to the launch of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom at the Nintendo World store. I must say it was jam packed. There was tournaments, posters, cos-play and a raffle. But most importantly the producer Ryota Nittsuma was there. I decided to first try out the game and it's amazing. I used Karas and Tekkaman vs a fellow gamer who was Ryu and Chun Li. I won! The cos-players were in full effect. There was a Ryu, Frank West and many more. Overall it was a great day and Ryota Nittsuma is such a humble and cool dude. Thanks for the pic and autograph. Here are the pics I took at the event.

Ju- On (The Grudge) Wii Review

Yes this a very late review. But I have enough info and understanding to finally give a proper review. Ju-On The Grudge is a survival horror game developed by Xseed Games. The game follows four people plus a special level, as they try to survive the night of fear with the Kayako not far behind. But is this horror game worth the trip, or will you have grudge with Ju-On The Grudge?

Story -
There is no story in this game at all. The game is divided into four episodes and one bonus level. You take a different character through various location such as Abandon Factory, Hospital and Abandon Apartments. There is no characterization at all. Truthfully you won't care what fate good or bad lies for these characters. I felt that this was a missed opportunity on Xseed's part. They could've had a really great story that delivers into the psyche of the players.

Gameplay -
The gameplay is played in the first person perspective. There are no weapons, or any sort of combat. The player only has a flashlight. Using the Wii as the flashlight, you search the area to find keys or items to help you move to the next area. The B button is use to move you forward. If you play with a friend, they can take the second Wii remote and press the button anytime to scare you. Too bad the scares don't work. Very simple gameplay right? Wrong! This is extremely flawed and frustrating. The Wii remote does not respond quick enough when you want to turn. Good luck looking up because bringing the flashlight back down is a headache. When moving forward with B button, you will probably turn the game off. It's so slow, the tortoise move faster on Looney Tunes. On the bright side of things, the game does deliver on the scares. Kayako stalking you and popping up will make you jump. I won't tell you the scares, but it does deliver on that. Also when you are grab by Kayako the Wii mote motion control works for the quick time events.

Gameplay Video

Graphics - The graphics is not bad and but not great either. I feel that for a game with simple gameplay. I was hoping that graphics would at least use the Wii full potential (see game like Metroid Prime 3 Corruption). The graphics are on the Gamecube level. Nothing wrong with that but was hoping for a little more effort. The atmosphere although dark and gritty, just doesn't capture the fear level. Maybe a little more effort I would have been impressed.

Sound -
This is where Ju-On shines. The sound is wonderful. Kayako signature noise will freak you out, when it comes from the Wii remote. The music keys in at all the right moments. The constant footsteps coming from any direction will have you turning your Wii mote. Xseed really excel on the sound.

Replayability/Value - The game only last about for five hours. This doesn't have any reply value, unless you missed the secret items to unlock the last level. Other than that this game is a one trip deal.

Final Grade - C- This game is pure rental and very disappointing. It brings the scares, but the control scheme is more scarier. You'll have a grudge with this game.

Black Cat Review

Hello everyone. This is the first official review of Anime Angels! Today's topic is the anime show Black Cat. Black Cat is an epic tale about an assassin, a sweeper, and a bio weapon girl searching for a new way of life. Train Heartnet A.K.A Black Cat #13, is part of an organization called Chronos. He is an assassin who takes missions in order to bring "peace" to the world. Sven is a sweeper. Sweepers are bounty hunters that search for the chance to collect money from rewards. However Sven is very unlucky. He hasn't been able to catch a bounty and it seems hopeless he will ever get to have a nice meal. The two men meet up with each other when Black Cat tries to kill Eve, the bio weapon. These three people have a bigger destiny then they could imagine especially when the world needs them the most.
I haven't read the manga for Black Cat, but I have seen up to episode 21 and it is awesome! There is 24 episodes in all and the entire season can be bought at funimation.com. You can also see the dub version on funimation.com. Here are the steps:
1. Once you get to the site, look at the top and click watch video
2. There is a list on the left of the screen in alphabetical order so you don't have scroll down too much
3. Click on Black Cat and enjoy the show.
The voice actors in the show are awesome. Jason Lebretcht (I might have spelled his last name wrong, my bad), plays Train and he is also Syaoran in Tsubasa Chronicles.
There are many other voice actors that bring out the emotions and the qualities of each character. So far train is my favorite
character. The music is very good especially the opening song. The characters have great details about them and the scenary
is beautiful. The story has a great plot and a lot of twists and turns along the way. I highly recommend people who are
fans of Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, and shows full of drama, action, and comedy. The best part is that there aren't any fillers!!
I hereby rule that Black Cat is a 10 out of 10 on the Anime Awesome Scale! Please comment and tell me what you think of the show!
The next topic I'm going to review is the new show Soul Eater! Anime Rules!!!!

Their name is sometimes abbreviated as D.A.I., revealing that Do As Infinity was named after the band's guitarist and composer, Dai Nagao. With the release of their A-side compilation album Do the A-side, Do As Infinity disbanded on September 29, 2005, after a career which spanned six years, six albums, twenty singles, seven compilation albums and eight live DVDs. Supercar - was a Japanese rock band active from 1995 to 2005, and who made their debut in 1997. Consisting of songwriter and vocalist Kōji Nakamura, guitarist Junji Ishiwatari (いしわたり淳治 Ishiwatari Junji), bassist Miki Furukawa (フルカワミキ Furukawa Miki), and drummer Kōdai Tazawa (田沢公大 Tazawa Kōdai), Supercar is best known for combining alternative rock with electronic music. Internationally, Supercar is best known for providing much of the soundtrack for the Japanese film Ping Pong, as well as being featured in the anime series Eureka Seven.

Last Scene

Field Of View - was a popular Japanese rock band formed in 1994 by vocalist U-ya Asaoka, guitarist Takashi Oda, keyboardist Jun Abe and drummer Takuto Kohashi, with Jun Abe leaving and Kenji Niitsu joining the following year. The group's tenure lasted until their break up in December 2002.

One of their hit singles, Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku, was used as the opening theme for the popular anime series Dragon Ball GT. Another single, 「渇いた叫び」(Kawaita Sakebi), was used as the opening for the original Yu-Gi-Oh series from Toei in 1998.

Last Goodbye

Tsukiko Amano - Now known as Tsuki Amano. Amano has been playing music since the age of 5, when she started taking piano lessons. She was part of her junior high school chorus club as a soprano, and in high school she began to experiment with various musical instruments and joined the theatre group. It was also in high school where she bought her very first guitar, which is now her primary instrument.

As Amano grew in her musical experience, she began to play in clubs, bars and on the street having gigs almost every day. She even joined a band for a little while, however this venture eventually failed, and the band broke up. Her major break came when she sent a demo tape to a close friend, who managed to get the tape into the hands of one of Otokura Records' producers.

Although she is considered more of an underground artist in the Japanese music industry, she has been slowly been finding herself in the spotlight, especially in 2001 with her smash hit 'Bodaiju'. Many of Amano's songs have also been used as theme songs for commercials, television shows, movies, and video games. Tsukiko Amano is primarily a solo alternative artist, but has been known to team up with other artists on the Otokura label.

Besides writing all of her own songs, Amano also designs and makes most of the unique costumes in her videos (and for her performances) herself. She loves to draw and has a unique artistic style. Not only does she publish a comic on Otokura.com's website, she's published a storybook she wrote while recording her Ningyō video. A variety of her artwork can also be seen on singles, albums, and posters promoting her stage performances.[1]

Tsukiko recently announced that she would retire from her old name, as well as singing. As of 2008, she wanted to be recognized as Tsuki, not Tsukiko. This is because 2008 was the year of the rat, and in Japan "ko" means rat. Since it is no longer the year of the rat, the year for new beginnings, she would like to retire from the name. And since it's the year for new beginnings, Tsuki would like to begin a new name. On January 10, 2010, she announced she would be returning to music.

Utada Hikaru - Our favorite of all the one who got us into J-Pop. The one and only Utada Hikaru. (宇多田 ヒカル Utada Hikaru), known by her stage name Utada (English pronunciation: /uˈtɑːdə/) in America and Europe, and as Hikki (ヒッキー, Hikkī?), is a Japanese American singer and songwriter, arranger, and record producer.

Since the release of her debut album First Love, which went on to become the best-selling album in Oricon's recent history, Utada has had three of her Japanese studio albums in the list of Top 10 best-selling albums ever in Japan (#1, #4, #8) and an six overall of her albums (two English-language and one compilation) charting within the 275 Best-Selling Japanese albums list.

Utada has had fourteen number-one singles on the Oricon Singles chart, with two notable record achievements for a female solo or group artist: five million-sellers and four in the Top 100 All-Time Best-selling Singles. In 2009, she was considered the most influential artist of the decade, in the Japanese landscape, by The Japan Times. For her achievements, she was described by Time Magazine in 2001 as a "Diva On Campus," while attending Columbia University for a brief, career-break semester in 2001.In 2003, Utada was ranked #24 in the survey of Top 100 Japanese Pop Artists of All Time by HMV,#10 in HMV's Top 30 Best Japanese Singers of All Time in 2006.

Additionally, Utada made two theme song contributions to Kingdom Hearts video game series, a collaboration between Square Enix and Disney: "Simple and Clean"[12] and "Sanctuary". In 2007, her single "Flavor of Life" reached #2 in worldwide digital download yearly single chart with over 7.2 million downloads,[14] and contributes to 12 million digital sales for her over the same year.
