Hey Otakus and Geeks fans, New York Comic Con was amazing this year and bigger than last year. There were many exciting panels this year, but the most anticipated one was DareDevil on Netflix. Now just in-case you are unfamiliar with the Man Without Fear, here is a quick synopsis of the character:Living in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, Matt Murdock is blinded by a radioactive substance that falls from an oncoming vehicle.

Nickelodeon & Activision's 'The Legend of Korra' is Now Available

The Legend of Korra videogame has finally arrived today on the PSN store. Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Korra follows Korra, a passionate young woman and the reincarnation of the Avatar, a supreme being granted mastery over the four elements of nature: fire, earth, air and water. The game’s story, crafted by series staff writer Tim Hedrick in association with co-creators and executive producers Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, bridges Books Two and Three of the series and features gorgeous cel-shaded artwork, animated story sequences and voice talent from the show’s cast.

Scarlett Johansson to Possibly Star in Live Action Adaptation of GHOST IN THE SHELL

DreamWorks has been developing a live action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell ever since they bought the property a few years ago. Although the development has been slow and quiet for awhile it's now finally heating up as Scarlett Johansson has been offered to play the titular character Major Motoko Kusanagi, the leader of the covert ops unit that fights cyber - terrorists.

Hitman | sniper @NYCC2014

Last Thursday I had the wonderful opportunity to stop by Square Enix and check out a few of their current and upcoming releases one of them being Hitman|Sniper the hybrid of you guessed it Hitman and sniper. The game is for mobile but I got to check it out on iPad and I must say I had a lot of fun. It seems that the guys over at Square Enix Montreal have a really good understanding on what makes a free to play game work. With very addictive gameplay and no in your face pay to win option any where I can really see this game catching on.

The team at Titmouse has history with The Legend of Korra, having designed the stellar main title for series creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko’s previous show, Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender®, from which The Legend of Korra originated. Capturing Korra’s raw energy, personality and force of will in the game’s cinematic sequences required a studio as bold as the Avatar herself, so when Activision Publishing came to DiMartino and Konietzko to ask who they trusted to get the job done, the choice was clear.

‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ sequel to debut on Netflix

Netflix announced Tuesday, September 30 that the sequel to the 2000 martial arts film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” will premiere exclusively on the streaming service next year. Described by the The New York Times as the “first deal of its kind,” the follow-up to the Oscar-winning blockbuster, starring Michelle Yeoh and directed by Woo-ping Yuen will debut simultaneously around the world on the streaming service as well as select number of IMAX theaters.

BATMAN Gets USPS Stamps in Time for New York Comic Con, 75th Anniversary

He protects Gotham City as the caped crusader. He lends a hand to the Justice League in keeping the whole universe safe. Now, Batman will protect your mail as it travels through the US Postal Service. Yes, Batman stamps are coming on October 9, 2014, in conjunction with this year’s New York Comic Con. The stamps will feature four eras of Batman, from the original 1939 design to the modern day. They’ll be sold in sheets of 20 as Forever stamps priced at the current 49 cents each (but will be usable even as rates rise).

Aniplex of America, Inc. has announced at their industry panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta (Atlanta, GA.) their plans to release the second season of Silver Spoon in a complete DVD set on December 16th.
