Mummified dead bodies of various dignitaries from around the world are being discovered, a mysterious tarot card left beside them at the scene. The world is headed towards chaos... Kiyoharu is the young head of the Genpo noble family, owners of a massive toy manufacturing enterprise. He also functions as a secret watchdog for the Queen, a service that his family has provided for generations. The Queen orders Kiyoharu to solve the mummification incidents, and he starts to investigate.

From October 9-12 Otakus and Geeks photographers will be running around at NYCC at the Javits Center taking picture of cosplayers at the event. Our photographers will select the top 50 cosplayers for the Otakus & Geeks: Cosplayers of NYCC 2014 first round.

‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ sequel to debut on Netflix

Netflix announced Tuesday, September 30 that the sequel to the 2000 martial arts film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” will premiere exclusively on the streaming service next year. Described by the The New York Times as the “first deal of its kind,” the follow-up to the Oscar-winning blockbuster, starring Michelle Yeoh and directed by Woo-ping Yuen will debut simultaneously around the world on the streaming service as well as select number of IMAX theaters.

BATMAN Gets USPS Stamps in Time for New York Comic Con, 75th Anniversary

He protects Gotham City as the caped crusader. He lends a hand to the Justice League in keeping the whole universe safe. Now, Batman will protect your mail as it travels through the US Postal Service. Yes, Batman stamps are coming on October 9, 2014, in conjunction with this year’s New York Comic Con. The stamps will feature four eras of Batman, from the original 1939 design to the modern day. They’ll be sold in sheets of 20 as Forever stamps priced at the current 49 cents each (but will be usable even as rates rise).

Aniplex of America, Inc. has announced at their industry panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta (Atlanta, GA.) their plans to release the second season of Silver Spoon in a complete DVD set on December 16th.
